On Tuesday, February 25, in the hometown packed gym, the Lady Cougars shot down the Greenville Patriots, 54-39, to advance to the Final 4.
Carman Cannon lead the scoring with 16 points, followed by Destiny Hightower with 14 points, Takia Davis with 10 points, Janiyah Wimberly with 9 points, and Jateriah Wimbushs with 5 points.
In an earlier game, on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 the Lady Cougars whipped the Bulldogs of Emanuel County Institute 56-37 to advance to the Elite 8 in the State Basketball tournament. The Lady Cougars play in the Final 4 Friday, February 28.
